This one is wonderful — it has so much richness and storytelling in it. For Shopify though, I’d shorten and structure it so customers aren’t overwhelmed while still preserving Katy’s voice and all the beautiful details.
Walking With Aroha
Limited Edition Fine Art Print by Katy Hayward
‘Walking with aroha’ features a curious brown kiwi taking a stroll through beautiful Aotearoa | New Zealand native bush. Crowned with delicate mānuka flowers and accompanied by an incredible collection of native companions, this artwork is a joyful celebration of the richness and uniqueness of our natural world.
Kiwi are one of Aotearoa’s most treasured national icons — deeply cherished across cultures and symbolic of our extraordinary native wildlife and natural heritage.
And beyond that… kiwi are simply incredibly cute.
Imagine a giant feathered poi stomping through the forest at night on strong little legs, with no tail and no need for wings — confidently sniffing along with that remarkable long beak in search of delicious grubs beneath the forest floor.
This artwork gently reminds us of the important role we all play in conservation — keeping dogs under control, protecting native habitats, and supporting the people helping care for our unique wildlife.
