Finding the Extraordinary Within the Ordinary

One of my favourite sayings from my photography teaching days was to find the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Creativity has always been rooted in observation, curiosity, and connection to place. Influenced by years exploring New Zealand’s forests, coastlines, and native ecosystems, my work often draws from the quiet details that surround us.

Whether through drawing, photography, painting, or curation, I’m interested in creating moments that encourage people to slow down and look a little closer.
